As part of a highly successful creative mailer marketing campaign, I developed and implemented a concept for targeting financial institutions. The campaign involved sending handwritten letters to senior executives at major companies, written using robot hands, and featuring a credit card with a mobile number disguised as a card number and a QR code leading to a personalized landing page. To ensure that the letters were not discarded as junk mail, they were placed in brown paper envelopes labeled “important” and “do not bend.” This innovative and effective campaign was recognized with an award for best direct mailer, and it also resulted in replies from decision-makers at Mastercard, Starling Bank, and Monzo.
